The Revenge Tour Starts Now

After a long summer of practices, camps, scrimmages, and a whole lot of hitting their own teammates, the JV boys finally got to hit somebody else Wednesday night.

And they didn’t waste much time getting after it.

After last week’s game against Boise was cancelled because the Braves didn’t have enough players to field a JV team, everyone was more than ready to finally get a game in. This week they had the Borah Lions, and our boys came ready to work.

From the opening whistle, it was a battle. Back and forth all night, with neither team willing to give an inch. Our guys played physical, played fast, and handled Borah pretty damn well physically.

Unfortunately, the clock doesn't care how hard you played.

When it finally hit zero, Borah walked away with a 50–44 win.

It’s a tough one to swallow, especially when the boys fought their asses off for four quarters. But there was plenty to like about what I saw out there. This group is tough, they're getting better, and now they know exactly what they need to clean up.

And I know they will be ready next Thursday.

As always, I've put all of my photos from the game here for the players and families to use however they want. Social media, team posts, senior-year memories, or just to have. Right-click and make ‘em yours. Cropped 4:5 perfect for Instagram posts.
