Hey, I'm Krisjan.

Howdy.

My name is Krisjan. It’s pronounced like religion and spelled like an Ikea coffee table.

If you found this page because your kid plays football, you're probably wondering who the guy is standing on the sideline with the giant camera.

That's me.

I'm a dad, husband, business guy, photographer, occasional writer, and generally curious human being who likes being around good people and making stuff.

I live in Boise with my wife, Erika, our kids, Uly and Clover, and our dogs. I spend a lot of my free time photographing things I think are interesting—football games, cars, people, buildings, weird stuff I find walking around, and pretty much anything else that catches my eye.

Why the football photos?

Honestly, I just like football.

I played a lot of football a very long time ago, and now I get to watch my own kid play. Somewhere along the way, I started bringing a camera.

I really enjoy being down on the sideline watching a game through a camera. Not just the touchdowns and big plays, but the stuff most people don't see—the kid getting ready for the next play, the coaches talking, the bench, the celebrations, the frustration, the parents losing their minds in the stands.

Those little moments are usually the ones people want to remember.

So when I photograph a game, I try to get as much of that as I can.

And then I put the photos here.

They're for the players and families.

Download them. Post them. Send them to your friends. Tag your teammates. Make one your profile picture. Put it on your Snapchat, Instagram, whatever the kids are using this week.

Seriously.

I take a ridiculous number of photos because I want the players to have them.

And here's the part I don't totally understand:

You guys actually have to download and post them.

I've spent approximately one million years hearing people complain that there aren't enough good pictures of themselves.

A little more about me

Photography is one of the things I do because I genuinely enjoy it. My day job is leading a big group of engineers and working with clients on complicated projects. I've spent more than 20 years working in business, real estate, project management, marketing, and leadership.

But none of that is particularly important when I'm standing on the sideline at a Thursday or Friday night football game.

I'm just another dad with a camera.

I like good music, old cars, architecture, Photoshop, making dumb songs, meeting interesting people, and spending time with my family.

I also make a lot of lists.

Probably too many lists.
