That One Time I Brought A Cake To A Prospect’s Office
Sometimes in business (and life!) we have to do something extreme to get the result we want.
In this case a prospective client avoided me for an entire year. Instead of giving up I made a move I knew would get their attention.
You know what? It worked. We ended up doing a lot of business together and remain friends today.
Whenever I'm feeling discouraged or intimidated I think back to this and ask myself "What's the worst that could happen?"
For me, almost always the best-case scenario far outweighs the worst.
